Who says it is impossible to stay in a gorgeous boutique hotel when you are on a tight budget? Read on to know how much is the rate of the prettiest hotel in Dumaguete. Trust me when I say it's so cheap!

The interior of this hotel is really my peg! Though small, you can have plenty of  beautifully curated nooks to chill at. Modern art and amazingly designed furniture are everywhere, so expect every corner to be Instagrammable!

The first time I went here, I totally fell in love with the whole place. Located in Hibbard Avenue, just meters away from Silliman University and the yummy Neva's Pizza, you can already relax at an ultimate zen. Imagine finding a place like this right in the heart of the buzzing Dumaguete City, it's just a ride away from the boulevard, Sans Rival, Gabby's Bistro, and many other restaurants and cafes worth digging!

Islands Leisure has 16 rooms, and each room has its own unique contemporary design, with a lighting so cozy it will immediately lull you to sleep. The cheapest room starts at P700.00/night, good for 2 persons and with breakfast. Beautiful paintings are hanging everywhere, and in fact, we have seen a couple of Marilyn Monroe which is really lovely. The cute pastel-colored walls are gonna make you stay in your room longer and  just allow yourself to be lazy. We were given a free accommodation and we stayed in a Premiere Room that has a hot and cold shower, LCD TV with cable channels, high-speed WiFi, coffee and tea service, and many more.

They even have this Premiere Suite that has its own kitchen. This one is huge, located just near the fountain.

Wellness Spa

Hidden inside this chic hotel is a mini pool with sunbeds, tables and chairs perfect for a siesta. This cozy spot will make you want to grab a beer and your favorite book.

Just beside the pool is the Islands Touch Chic Spa. Relax and rejuvenate in their different treatments that are inspired by the traditional Asian healing philosophies. They also offer aromatherapy, facials and refloxology.

They serve the best breakfast and just recently, they already opened a restaurant. Too bad we haven't tried any other food because we had to rush to our next trip.

We really had a great time here, and if you would ask me if I'm going to stay here again, definitely YES! This mini oasis of lush plants with contemporary art is perfect for a break from the busy city of Dumaguete. Makes me want to come back again and again.

Islands Leisure Boutique Hotel and Spa also offers trips to the nearby adventure spots like Apo Island, Twin Lake and Siquijor. For other rates, packages and reservations, contact them HERE.

  1. My name is Kimber, last time i visited this hotel and enjoy weekend there. The amenities and facilities of the hotel is nice except for the toilet and the manager. the food is good. The place is too far from the town center and is not that accessible if you're the type to explore places during night time.

    1. Hi Kimber! Well, the toilet was small but it's clean and we don't have problems with the manager. There are lots of trike around the city even until late nights so it's pretty accessible. Anyways, thanks for dropping by! :)

  2. The resort is absolutely beautiful! Your blog makes me want to just leave my office desk and go travel the world.
